He also really, REALLY likes to stand up {with help}. I don't know how this kid is ever going to learn to sit unassisted, because all he ever wants to do is stand... and sometimes he throws a fit if you try to get him to sit down. He likes standing so much that I went out and bought him a walker. He's not quite big enough to touch the floor yet, so I put a pillow under there and he LOVES it! Who knows, maybe he'll STAND before he SITS by himself. I tend to do things a little backwards myself, so I wouldn't put it past him.
Although the antibiotics seem to be working, they also give Elliot really nasty, stinky poop. I've been using his biodegradable/flushable inserts because he's been pooping in every single diaper. Yuck! So his butt has been much less "fluffy" the last couple days. I miss the cloth, though. The disposables are much less soft and absorbent... and they make the trash stink. There is never any smell with his cloth! I can't wait for him to be done with this medicine.
He SMILES again! :) Usually with his fingers jammed in his mouth, because he is teething like crazy.
See?
In love with his new walker.
Captured mid-screech. Check out those EYEBROWS!!
That last picture is priceless!
ReplyDeleteGlad he is feeling better.
SO cute! Chloe has just started sitting up herself! Shes not much of a stander, but she loves to try and scoot... i hope she doesn't start crawling too soon i may cry!
ReplyDeleteWhen Chloe was on her antibiotics for an ear infection she started pooping 2 - 3 times a day and they got stinkier and larger LOL.
The doc told me thats just what antibiotics do.
He is such a cutie.
What a cutie!
ReplyDeletesomething tells me this cutie is going to looove a jumperoo (or johnny jumper, as some people call them). so glad he's feeling better and sleeping more at night. :)
