Well today is our first day cloth diapering. Elliot decided to POOP in his very first cloth diaper only minutes after I put it on him! I was nervous about how I'd deal with the poopy dipes but I'm proud to say that it was really no big deal.
He seems very comfortable and happy... and his diapers are SO ADORABLE!
OMG Jess, I looove his eyes! :)
ReplyDeletehaha, don't you know, there is some unwritten rule that babies must poop in
ReplyDeletea. brand new diapers
b. your favorite diaper or
c. right before you are about to leave to go somewhere really important.
He is adorable by the way! :)
Aren't they great? And EASY? I was shocked. Your little guy looks adorable in his cloth dipes!
ReplyDeleteHe certainly looks comfy to me! :)
ReplyDeletehe is just so darn cute! Love those big eyes!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so darn cute in his cloth diapers!! I'm so glad to see that he is home, and he looks like he's doing really well!!
ReplyDeleteyay for cloth! He's so adorable in his matching hat and diaper!
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome to see another CD mama, I just blogged today about some diapers I made. Cloth diapers are so cute!
I'd REALLY love to cloth diaper, but we don't have a washer and dryer (we go to my Dad's to do laundry every 2 weeks) so yeah, that kind of poses a problem lol.

Yay!!! I love CD!! What size is he wearing? My newborn (1/11) is having to move in to S.
ReplyDeleteI used these with my son and we installed the diaper sprayer on our toilet to make cleaning the poopy diapers easier. I highly recommend it.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteJazmyn- don't worry, not everyone can do it. Maybe the next baby when you have your own washer and dryer? If not, oh well. Sposies never killed anyone!
Melissa- this is a small. He fits into xs too, but it's a tight squeeze!
I also plan to get a diaper sprayer asap :)
We have used disposables with both of our kids and now that I am pregnant we are thinking of cloth diapering :)
ReplyDeleteHe is such a handsome little man!
He is such a sweet little guy and I love his blanket. I've seen it in a lot of his pictures. I use those cloth diapers and LOVE them. I wanted to get the sprayer for them but for some reason we weren't able to connect it to our toilet.
ReplyDeleteWe use the Biosoft liners and they work really well. I think cloth diapers are so addicting. ;)
Oh my gosh he's absolutely adorable and getting so big already!!! I knew he'd be a cutie! I'm fairly certain that we'll do cloth diapers our second time around.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and I cloth diaper too, its great! And your son looks wonderful in his BumGenius, styling!
ReplyDeletegood luck w/ the cloth! we started but i got lazy & gave in to the convenience of 'sposies. i often think about trying again though :)
ReplyDeletehe sure is cute!
He's just adorable girl! I'm a Mama to an 8 month old little boy and he is my joy! We are stationed overseas in Germany and I've grown up military and was actually active duty myself a little while ago. I know how hard it can be alone. :) Thinking of you and your little slice of heaven.
ReplyDelete*Hugs!*
Beautiful little guy :)
ReplyDeleteIt is the unwritten rule of babes that they will always poop in a lovely clean fresh diaper...normally when you're running late for something!
