We got up bright and early today to go to Elliot's doctor appointment. Elliot woke up even more than the normal 7-8 times last night {he was up every half hour at one point}, so we were both pretty tired!
First of all, Elliot now weighs 10 pounds! Wow!
He is now taking Zantac twice a day for his reflux, and we are switching his formula from Enfamil Gentlease to Gerber Good Start Gentle Plus. The Gerber formula has as much fiber as breastmilk {the Enfamil does not}, and less lactose and corn syrup so most formerly-breastfed babies do better on it. I sure hope so! Next week, Elliot will have a swallow study at the hospital. I'm definitely not looking forward to taking him back to the hospital, but I'm glad we'll be able to see what's really going on in there.

  1. We used GoodStart with Tillie (green can) and my sister Kizie (orange can). It worked well for us. Make sure you sign up on their website for coupons. They send good ones!

  2. Whenever my kids went to the babysitters and I couldn't pump they would use the good start and they did really great on it. Hope it works!

  3. L is on the Gerber Goodstart Gentle Plus as well and before that she was on Enfamil Gentlease. She doesn't mind the Gerber but it stinks WAY MORE than the Enfamil and doesn't mix as well. But other than that, we've had no issues with it. Elliot is such a handsome little man.

  5. After we weaned Sylvie off the super expensive medical grade formula, we put her on the Gerber Gentle. She does very well on it! I hope Elliot does, too. Such a cutie face!
