Have you thanked a soldier today?

As you all know, my husband is currently serving our country in South Korea. But what most of you do not know is that he also spent a long fifteen months in Iraq- where he was shot in the head by a sniper. This earned him a purple heart. Miraculously, he survived and is still fighting for our country today!
I try to thank God every day for sparing his life and bringing him safely home to me. Not everyone is so lucky. Aaron lost friends in Iraq- friends whose families were left behind.

    Beautiful post, beautiful song! I'm so thankful for everyone who has served in the armed forces! And thankful to the spouses of those serving, you all are so strong!

    That is absolutely incredible what your husband has been through and survived- and your strength through such a scary time. You guys are truly inspiring! Happy Veterans Day :)
