107 degrees? No problem, mom!

It's been 107 degrees and sunny for several days in a row now. Our new neighbors probably think we're nuts since they see Elliot and I outside all the time in this heat. Little do they know, if Elliot doesn't get his daily dose (or two, or three...) of sunshine, he GOES NUTS! Seriously! He gets extremely fussy if he's cooped up in the house all day. The kid has more toys than any other baby I know, but nothing is as exciting as going outside. He can be in the middle of a meltdown, and the MOMENT my feet hit the pavement, he stops crying. He just LOVES being outside!
So yes. I take my baby outside even when it's 107 degrees outside. Don't worry- not for too long at a time. He's regularly slathered in spf 50, of course, and we try to stay in the shade.
