The beginning of our cloth adventure

I've been planning to cloth diaper since before I was even pregnant. After all, it's better for the environment, the baby, our budget... what's not to love?
Well today is our first day cloth diapering. Elliot decided to POOP in his very first cloth diaper only minutes after I put it on him! I was nervous about how I'd deal with the poopy dipes but I'm proud to say that it was really no big deal.
He seems very comfortable and happy... and his diapers are SO ADORABLE!

  8. I'd REALLY love to cloth diaper, but we don't have a washer and dryer (we go to my Dad's to do laundry every 2 weeks) so yeah, that kind of poses a problem lol.

  10. I used these with my son and we installed the diaper sprayer on our toilet to make cleaning the poopy diapers easier. I highly recommend it.

  11. Thanks everyone!
Jazmyn- don't worry, not everyone can do it. Maybe the next baby when you have your own washer and dryer? If not, oh well. Sposies never killed anyone!
Melissa- this is a small. He fits into xs too, but it's a tight squeeze!
I also plan to get a diaper sprayer asap :)

  13. He is such a sweet little guy and I love his blanket. I've seen it in a lot of his pictures. I use those cloth diapers and LOVE them. I wanted to get the sprayer for them but for some reason we weren't able to connect it to our toilet.

We use the Biosoft liners and they work really well. I think cloth diapers are so addicting. ;)

  17. He's just adorable girl! I'm a Mama to an 8 month old little boy and he is my joy! We are stationed overseas in Germany and I've grown up military and was actually active duty myself a little while ago. I know how hard it can be alone. :) Thinking of you and your little slice of heaven.

    *Hugs!*

  18. Beautiful little guy :)
It is the unwritten rule of babes that they will always poop in a lovely clean fresh diaper...normally when you're running late for something!
