Motherhood.

Hold on

"Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my field, since the payment is pure love." -Mildred B. Vermont

I've been a mother for four months now. Twelve if you count when I was pregnant. Becoming a mother changes you. It's amazing how instantly, the moment you see your newborn child's face, your life changes forever. Suddenly, nothing else matters. You'd hurl yourself into incoming traffic to save this tiny person that you just met. Your own wants and needs automatically come last, and making your child happy moves up to the top of your priority list.
Motherhood is all I ever expected, and more. It is the most satisfying, fulfilling position I could ever hold. I've never been so passionate about anything in my life. Some people think being a stay at home mom is boring... but it's the complete opposite. I get to spend every moment of every day with my beautiful son. I get to watch in amazement as he grows and changes, hold his hand as he maneuvers his way through this big, beautiful world. I am trusted with one of the biggest {and sometimes, most challenging} responsibilities- raising a responsible, caring, little person.
My son inspires me. He reminds me to take joy in the little things. He makes me laugh, cry, and everything in between. He makes me want to be the best person that I can be. We are held together by some invisible, unbreakable thread, and I know now that no matter what happens in the future, my life is better because I have him in my life.
All of my childhood dreams have come true- I have a wonderful husband who loves me and a son who lights up my life. A perfect little family of three. I am blessed.

"The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new." -Rajneesh

Everything you said is so true!
Being a mother changes you in ways you never could have imagined (at least I know I sure didn't).... it's the most amazing thing in the world. I don't even remember life without JUlianna or life when I wasn't a mother. Amazing.
