my macbook is dead...
My macbook died last night. Again. Of course, what else would you expect from a 4 1/2 year old computer that has been through a lot over the years? I'm still pretty sad, though. I had this laptop when I was in college, when I lived in Michigan, Colorado, and Arizona, when I was pregnant, and in the hospital while Elliot was in the NICU. I have a lot of memories with this computer! And let's not even talk about how long it's been since I backed up my photos and music... I could cry. I literally JUST decided that, since they were all saved on my computer, I could delete all of the photos on my memory card. I'm heartbroken.
I think the hard drive crashed again... and I just replaced it a few months ago! {rawr} I think it's time to get a new computer.

OH no! I am terrified of this happening to my computer! What did you do about all of your pictures and stuff? Did you lose them all??

:( I feel your pain. I had mine for about 4 years too and it died in December. I still have yet to get all the data off the h/d. It would have cost as much as a new macbook to fix! Ugh. :( I spilled stuff in mine though, so that's why mine died. :x

I would still take it somewhere and see if there is ANYTHING they can recover! Good luck
ReplyDeletemake sure you take it to a mac doctor - both times my hard drive has died they have recovered all the info on the hard drive, no problems! Good luck!
