Big Boy!

Isn't it amazing how quickly babies change? It seems like just yesterday Elliot was struggling to take 5mls of breastmilk in his first bottles... and now he is taking three ounces! Yes, that's right: THREE OUNCES! I'm not sure if it's due to our slow transition to new formula or what... but Elliot is taking mostly three ounce bottles during the day now. He is also spitting up a lot less.
I'm also starting to wonder if maybe my boy is preteething already? He used to only chew/suck on his fists when he was hungry... but he does it all.the.time now. If he's not sleeping or crying, you can bet those hands will be in his mouth.

Yummy fist!
See? Here is is chewing on his fist AND wearing a 0-3 month hoodie!
Oh man! He is just growing up too fast!!

PS: in case you were wondering, I'm feeling much better today.
PSS: we'd love a few votes ;) we were getting really close to the first page again, but now we're dropping.

  1. Truitt sucks on his hands all the time too and I THINK he's doing it for comfort especially since he won't take a pacifier BUT if you'll let him, he chomps down on your fingers so maybe he is massaging his gums too?

  2. with my oldest son, he started preteething at around 3 months, but he didn't get his first tooth until 7 months. so it could definitely be!

  3. What a cutie! So glad you're feeling better!

  4. Cute pic! Marshall sucks on his hand so much he actually gave himself little hickeys on his fingers :)
